At some point White turned from an average/slightly above average rec to "omg do whatever it takes to sign this stud superstar" and it's wrong. That's what you are forced to do when you don't make a serious effort to sign one of the true "superstars" namely Lewis or Lawler. |

We're apparently pursuing Figueroa & Duke Williams. Figueroa, who we let walk a few seasons ago, & the dude who defended Garrett Marino. But heaven forfend we go after a true star like Geno Lewis.

Duke Williams, when he was with Edmonton was the best receiver in the league at the time. After his NFL stint with the Bills he returns to the CFL with the Riders and acts like a complete ass-hat by getting involved in several incidents. I certainly don't remember him acting up, even once, when he was in Edmonton.

I know Frankie Williams got accused of it in 2021 against Sask and Kam Kelly launched a lugie at an Edm player (believe it was the game where Simoni and Wilder got into it). If they were all choirboys Pinball would be out half his team. |
