Honest question - is there any way possible for Dane Evans remaining a Tiger-Cat after all this, even if the team fails to sign BLM? The pessimist in me knows that Bo has had throwing shoulder injuries - just like Maas. Other injuries and poor performance has kept him out of more games than he's actually played over the past few seasons. As Crash mentions, he hasn't been "elite" since 2018. If this turns into a Jason Maas 2.0 scenario, especially if Dane gives Orlondo the finger, then the team is DONE for the season. A season in which they host the GC again. |

I honestly can't see Evans coming back, regardless if Mitchell doesn't sign, because Stein has already let it be known that he's looking at "getting better" at the quarterback position. As much as I hate the team for giving up on Evans, I also hate the fact the big three will all be returning in their respective roles for the sake of "continuity". Am I looking forward to the "continuity" of regressing? Nope. I really hope I'm wrong on my feelings here but I have no reason to look forward to the 2023 season and that won't change no matter who they sign in free agency.

A. Happens this week
B. Before new year.
C. Sometime in Jan.
D. There's nothing to announce because it isn't a done deal and drama ain't over.
