Most of the really good free agents have re-signed with their current teams. Lawler and Lewis still out there and I'd sure like to sign one of those two.

Just saw a tweet from Lalji saying Riders have offered Trevor Harris a 2 year deal at $480k per. Crazy! Wow. Riders really don’t want to give us their 3rd round pick for Dane. Never seen the state of quarterbacking in this league at a lower point. All the up and comers of a few years back have fallen from grace (Evans, Adams, Fajardo) when they should be hitting their prime now. Instead of the Dunigans, Allen’s and Burrises the elder statesmen are now Harris, MBT, Bo Levi and Masoli. And we get the usual preseason hype on guys like Dru Brown and Chad Kelly. If the XFL and USFL stick around a few years, it’s going to get even worse. |

Mahomes, Hurts, Wilson, etc were the prototypical undersized, mobile, athletic, CFL QBs of years past when their height alone would eliminate them from an NFL signing.
My how things have changed.
It's almost as if another League was paying attention to the CFL...
