Maas to Hamilton. He's better than Condell right? Don't even joke about it. How is that worse than the suggestions of Fraudjardo or BLM coming here? Never mind the "who should start in the playoffs" drek...

Never said it was. All those suggestions are simply ludicrous

Condell is a total enigma. He can make some brilliant play calls or he can make WTF was that play calls. I guess the question is, is it more of the former or more of the latter?

I guess the question is, is it more of the former or more of the latter? Looking back at things, trying to be as objective as possible, but I think Condell has an incredible play book, but at times lacks the personnel to take advantage of it. The Offence in both 2015 and 2019 were unbeatable. His detractors will say that the 2019 play book was all June Jones', but no OC worth his salt is going to be using his predecessor's play book. Last season, he somehow managed to re-write his book for the two games Watford started (and won) using a relatively simple RPO scheme that played to Watford's skill set. He did the same when Morton started this season. Look what happened once the O-line was finally fixed - the run game opened up, ALZL QBs now have time in the pocket, turnovers (INTs and QB/RB fumbles) are greatly reduced, receivers can actually finish their routes, etc. Still, he is hampered by really only having two, maybe three, receivers he can "trust". If teams can key on Timmeh and Dunbar, then who steps-up and makes plays?

This, while Sigpig has some good points Condell's playcalling at key times has been baffling. Yes player personnel has been a big issue for sure there really is no denying that.
Any suggestion of Maas coming to Hamilton is ridonkulous and the results will be a cattastrophy.

Ternowski looks like he's turning into a fairly legit option. Didn't hate what I saw out of Smith, but the decision making post catch seemed off. Godwin could be something interesting along the way. looked like nelly in the longest yard for a bit there

It seems that when Condell calls the wrong play, it goes really wrong. For some reason, this seems to happen at a critical juncture of the game more often than not. This was reduced with the emergence of the running game, so I hope they lean heavily on Hills tomorrow.
