Worst-case scenario: SSK wins out. We beat OTT at home, and TIE them away. SSK crosses over with a 1-point lead... I hope Hamilton qualifies for the playoffs, absolutely despise the crossover. |

I always find Josh’s work on comic book characters and Halloween candy to be particularly insightful. As for the missed TD throw, when I watched the replay during the game I really didn’t undertand why Dunbar stopped running his route. Maybe it’s just me but had he kept running I though he might have had a chance to lay out for it. Seemed like he stopped, expecting the ball as soon as he crossed the goal line and then had to make a mistimed leap. Smith might have been the only fan on planet Earth that though Micah Johnson's absence was noticeable. As far as defending the run, Johnson to me has been good. I think he’s played better the second half of the season but is nowhere near the player he used to be. I’ll still take him over Mulumba and Okafor since that looks like our options right now. |

While I believe Wynn is easily the bigger loss, it's no coincidence our run D got gashed for 180 yards last week without either of them in the lineup. |

Watching highlights on YouTube led to watching a HAM @ CAL game from 2006.
1. How astonishingly bad the Outside The Box era was esp roster quality. A handful of avg to good players surrounded by borderline professionals.
2. Jason Goss 106 yd pick six.
3. Burris scrambles and hookslides. Scott Gordon almost decapitates Burris as he completes slide.
Suitor sympathizes with Gordon because he was trying to make a play.
Climie at halftime complains about penalty.. refs don't allow tough play anymore.
Dunnigan suggests QBs shouldn't slide and just take the hit.
