Injury reports look promising for Dunbar, Tunde. Looks even more promising when you look at the Calgary injury report as well. (sure would be cool if Wynn wasn't down for the season)

Simoni a full participant. Is it enough to displace his replacement? Micah with what looks like a wonky knee. Colin Kelly at T would be a huge bonus.

I don’t mind Wilson - thought he had a strong game last week but has been average some other weeks. Not far off Simoni’s performance this year imo. Vosean Jospeh is a nice find as well. Linebacker to me is the least of the defensive worries. Calgary missing Malik Henry this week who’s probably been one of their most explosive players. Could be another game decided in the last few minutes in Calgary and you know how that goes. Prove me wrong, Hamilton.

Hasn't played poorly enough to be benched either. He has if is Sim is actually healthy enough to start. He hasn't been a complete disaster, so I give him a pass. Was it Shortill, Frey, or Korol who filled in for him during his suspension in 2019? We all thought that it would be a weakness, but there was no drop-off at all. Actually, I think Frey blew his ACL that year. And thanks to www.footballdb.com/teams/cfl/hamilton-tiger-cats/roster/2019?sort=pos, it was, indeed, Shortill who started for Simoni. Sadly, it looks as if that was his last season.

Shortill was shaping up to be a good one, too bad he had injury issues. Speaking of, anybody know anything about Nic Cross returning to the lineup? He's another good one, but maybe we have a bias against Cdn LBs?
I doubt they could keep Sim out of the lineup if they tried, he's got to be going nuts not playing. I thought Wilson did well for the most part....a few missed tackles that cost us, but he's played well, imo.

Weather for CAL looks perfect. Regardless of playing conditions the Over/Under for someone to mention "Late in the season you need a ground game. Weather something, something" is five (5).

You know the "Injury Discussion Policy" of the Ticats, it's personal and private. Even if a player is obviously done for the season they would never tell you that. Personally, I believe Cross is one of those "done for the season" guys. I also think the moment he becomes a free agent he'll be signing with his hometown Riders. I'll be totally shocked if he doesn't.

However, pointing out the team still sucked when said injured players were in the lineup is negative and is discouraged.

Prove me wrong, Hamilton. I feel like I'm not really noticing Wilson unless he effs up. (and I'll give Sim a slight pass as I'm pretty sure he was playing the first half of his season dinged up, returned, looked good, buggered his knee, we'll see where he's at) Joseph on the other hand looks like a guy who's gonna make plays for this team. He's in the thick of everything, gets hands on the ball, in on a lot of tackles esp compared to his playing time. I like what I've seen when he's not hurt (which has been a lot) You're right about Henry being out tho, if he actually misses that'll be huge for this secondary

He seems a bit smaller than Simoni or Wilson but really flies around. Could be a special player. Wilson is a free agent next year, Simoni has another year but with the bigger contract we’ll see what the team does. To me he could play one more year and it would be a nice story to see him end his career here - but the dollars might be better spent on the offence and I don’t think we drop Off much with Wilson/Joseph. Of course, they can move on from some heavier contracts like Van Zeyl, Laurent, Micah Johnson and free up salary there.

Calgary playing Shawn Bane in place of Henry. He’s had some good games, more of a returner than receiver but he’s fast and they can’t sleep on him. Amazing how Calgary just always finds another guy to plug in without missing a beat.
