ticats.ca/video/september-12-orlondo-steinauerSteinauer's pressers are getting shorter & shorter, or is it just me? He used to have 8 or 9 minute sessions, this one is about 3 1/2. I will give him one thing: his assessment of the Bummers is descriptive of everything the Ticats aren't.

Practice Roster Shopping List:
1-2 young dbs , preferably with some size and length to outmuscle receivers
1 dynamic smaller kick returner who can sub in at receiver
1 6’-3” or taller receiver, 220 lbs plus to catch fade routes in the corner of the end zone (if they can’t sign Count Floyd). A 2nd receiver with excellent hands who knows how to find the soft spot in a zone defence.
2 ferocious fast DE’s
1 monster DT
1 more LT for the oline.
1 Don Jackson clone at RB, but built slightly bigger.
With 32 teams down south, you’d think there’s some of these people out there, right?

It's sickening to me that Wpg loses Lawler to FA & Ellingson to injury, but don't miss a beat. Meanwhile, our receivers apart from Kiondre Smith don't seem to know anything about scramble rules or coming back to the QB when a play breaks down.

Power runner who can grind out tough yards up the middle. From what I’ve seen though he’s not a great receiver and doesn’t have a lot of moves in the open field. If you could ever afford to dress 2 Americans at running back he’d be part of a great 1-2 punch with Jackson. Now if you could find someone more like Kadeem Carey who has the quickness and the power, that would be something.

You'd think with the number of RBs that gets churned out down south that we'd be able to find someone closer to a power back type of runner. I thought that Alex Green might fit the bill a couple of years ago, still would like to know why the team gave up on him. Heard some rumblings that it was personal issues, but who knows what the truth is. My best friend (who some of you might know from her years on various boards) has convinced me to go to the game this week with her based on $5 beer, so I'll be in attendance to witness the slaughter.

Anyone who didn't (or doesn't) think that this team's biggest problem is coaching is out to lunch.

FFS - it's like trying to have a meaningful discussion with a fence post over there. The thought that Acklin wasn't a loss is mind-boggling...
