Call me a Debbie Downer but labour day doesn't feel the same when you're this bad.
I don't care if it's Canada Day, thanksgiving day or labour Day.
Just win games

Just win games I don't think you're too far off, this team doesn't feel like it has that Labour Day magic in them... maybe i'm way off. I'm still too dumb to not scream my head off for half a monday anyway, so we'll see how she goes boys

They could win, no question. They're favoured by a point.
I guess I'm saying I could care less what day it is.

They're competitive (mostly) at home, but you're right, this LD doesn't feel the same to me either.
Even in 2003, I thought they'd win LD. This year, the apathy is overwhelming.

Just go by the Stein logic. It's not an elimination "must-win" game despite how the team is playing during the season. When it comes to crunch time and your season can come to an end after a certain game then that is what you have been building all season for. When the players start believing in that crap then this is the result that you will witness during the regular season. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats motto: "Sure, we would like to win every game but it really doesn't matter until you can actually be eliminated."

Since this team is on the outside looking in at the playoff picture, a divisional game IS a "must win" game in MY books...

On another note, how many fans will actually "attend" this game? I know that it is officially "sold out" because it includes mass amounts of tickets sold to major sponsors for probably a buck each. I have a feeling they will be lucky if 20,000 fans attend.

I have a feeling they will be lucky if 20,000 fans attend. It will be the last game with a decent atmosphere, quite a bit of energy at the previous Argo game. But I’d expect quite a few no shows as mentioned - people aren’t likely rushing back from the cottage early to watch the team possibly implode again. After this one I think attendance drops off a cliff unless the team can get its act together.

Latest injury report has "Evans available" and fully participating in practice the last three days. don't know what "available" means in that context, but hey, here we are.

I expect Newman to start based on what I've heard.

Oh ya, Newman is starting and will play as long as possible. Evans will get in the game only if Newman completely falters or gets injured. Evans is still hurting injury wise and they have a bye next week so it's Newman or bust. The last thing Stein wants to do is look over at Evans and says "get in the game".

Feel like he hasn't wanted to put him in the game whenever possible to be honest. But from all the words coming out of the ticats, and more importantly, the words not being said.... It sounds like Newman's starting... don't know even a little bit what to expect.

Once has he said "Danes our guy" etc etc.

In other news. You know you're out of touch when you don't know the difference between a website and a depth chart.
