ticats.ca/video/august-31-orlondo-steinauerHad to laugh when I watched this. "How we handle it is how we handle it, & that's for us" was Steinauer's response to team reporter Louie B asking him about what he said to the team after last week's loss to the Argos. Reminded me of the time a Bummers scout was caught spying on our practice. Bummers head coach Mike Kelly, when asked about it, said "it's a non-issue, it's being handled internally" & just repeated that when asked about it again. Louie B, knowing which side his bread is buttered on, then lobs up a blooper question about the LD rivalry. I don't expect transparency in media interviews, particularly from Steinauer, but when you're taking a page from Mike Kelly's book, you're on the wrong track.

Funny how refreshing Stein was in interviews when he first became head coach. Answered any and all questions openly. I remember thinking how great this was compared to a bug-eyed, bombastic Austin interview. Fast forward to the present, with the losses mounting after each week and we see a completely different Stein. By the way what's the status of Bralon Addison? Is he out for the season? What a joke.

Ottawa GM Burke went on live radio yesterday to answer questions from angry fans.
Meanwhile in HAM you can take a selfie with Simoni Lawrence after you buy our stuff.

Is Steinauer different though? Or have we just seen through his bullshit?

Or was there just less bullshit when the team looked like it was climbing up the mountain instead of tumbling down the other side having missed the peak

Real problems tend to be slightly more complicated than saying "I have to watch the tape".

If Stein took even 1/10 of the personal responsibility that Evans has it wouldnt be an issue or even noteworthy.
