Anything might be better than this shit. Jones made a couple of baffling in-game decisions but I don't think he has made more than Stein has so far. I'd really like to know who made the decision to go for 1 after the last TD. I'm assuming Stein, but did Condell have any input? On the fifth quarter they had said Steinauer was worried about missing the two points and possibility of getting tied with a missed field goal. Made absolutely no sense to me with 19 seconds left. Unlikely Ottawa would drive deep enough to kick the ball through the end zone. And with Woods or Adeleke back returning it should be automatic on a missed field goal to bring the ball out from 5-10 yards deep past the goal line. I can’t see any other coach not going for the 2 point convert at that point in this league. We were all shaking our head at the game. Just bizarre He was worried about a 50% chance of a game tying single (assuming we miss) vs a chance of a game-winning TD? It's absolutely mind boggling. Also...week 2 "this team plays to win".

Same guy who tried two third down gambles inside the ten with a backup qb after we had been stuffed on first and second downs each time. If you’re trying to show your brass balls at least be consistent and try the two point convert

Everyone complained about Jone's questionable calls yet no one on the other board questions Orlondo who has pulled much of the same thing.
He says this team plays to win yet why is not coaching to win? He is coaching not to lose and while I may be off base to me he is coaching scared of losing. He is a very good coordinator but I truly question his head coaching abilities.
Battle of the two worst teams and the Cats barely win this. I should be celebrating yet this team has been so lousy this season...even in this game...that it is hard to get excited right now. Most that know me are surprised as this is the first time I have been this way with the team.

Most that know me are surprised as this is the first time I have been this way with the team. I'm exactly like you Fozzie. In the past I always looked forward and positive going into any game. With this coaching staff (and their decisions), and after the Grey Cup horror I find myself going and watching and then thinking how are they going to blow it this time.
