Apparently Suits went hard on him after. I've yet to hear it.
If masoli is out long term I can't wait for the "masoli had them turning the corner" and "he would have won these games too" narrative.
Like they haven't played worse every single week since week 1.

Like they haven't played worse every single week since week 1. Suitor was quick to point out the hit was payback for Marino getting pancaked earlier ( as if it was secret knowledge that only an ex player would understand) then realized it sounded like he was giving Marino a pass , walked it back, and went into full Simoni mode. Lots of pear-clutching from the panel too. |

Riders Twitter would have you believe it was Lawrence who hit Masoli.
Word is the league is considering a 2 game suspension on Simoni for his involvement.

Thanks to Rogers, I didn't see anything until this morning.
Bad hit all-around. It wasn't late (from what I saw, Masoli had -just- released the ball, but I could be wrong) but it was VERY low and bent Masoli's knee backwards.
The gloating reminded me of Kyries Hebert and A.J. Gass.
I know Masoli is a tough SOB, but if the team is without him for more than a couple of weeks, Ottawa will be in a REALLY bad spot.
With MTL being a gang-show too, and Toronto reverting to norm, the East is wide-open... lol

Garrett Marino should be suspended for his antics and if Behar from Ottawa is correct for the racial slurs that Marino apparently iterated during his dirty hit.
Suiter somewhat calling the league out on their anti player suspension since Ambrosie has taken over as commish. Apparently the league is too worried that the player will appeal and have it over turned which is why they have not been suspending players as much.
Marino should get 2 for the hit and if there was indeed racial slurs he said by him then he should be cooked for the season minimum.

I agree, most years I would say bring them on but Hamilton missed a chance to win a lay up of a game. Do not get me wrong I want Hamilton to win however, they seem to be finding ways to lose and frankly like Ottawa I think this team's play has been regressing week to week.

MLB does it all the time, drop the hammer and then you're not the bad guy if it gets overturned. Marino did the exact same thing to Masoli in 2021. |

Of course, a TD on the opening kickoff doesn't hurt.
Collaros simply marches his team up the field. Must be nice having an O-line...
