Woodmansey is coming off the 6 game. Will probably go to RG, with Kelly moving to LT. Certainly helps with the ratio, especially if Revenberg is over his illness. Unfortunately, that leaves Okafor as backup <gulp>

Woodmansey is good news. But you’d think they would keep Pickett on the active roster over Okafor, unless he’s dinged up/ out of shape.

For the life of me I can't remember Pickett at all. For an O-lineman, that's usually a good thing. From his bio, he didn't play in his draft year in 2018 (injuries), did not play in 2019 (potentially because of injuries), 2020 was a wash, and dressed for 13 games in OTT last year (Guard and Centre). I like his versatility, but the man hasn't played much pro football since he was drafted.

Ottawa used to be very deep in Canadian offensive linemen. They were able to draft some futures guys with uni eligibility the year before they entered the league and it seemed like every year after for quite a while their first rounder was always an oline pick. So guys like Pickett would have to bide their time. Not sure if he had legit injuries his first couple years or just had to ride out his time before an opening came up. Hopefully he works out for us, cause I think Okafor’s time has to be drawing to a close - he just seems physically outmatched any time I see him. Caught Jake Thomas basically driving him back into the qb a couple of times last game.

Any time Okafor is on the field, it's a net liability. Any time Okafor is on the game-day roster, it's a liability. If/when our guys heal enough to play, Okafor should no longer be a liability, because he would not be occupying a roster position that can go to a better National (or backup ST guy that will actually make a play or two).
